    Description

A color-printed hand-trimmed replica of the rare Z,000 P-72 Zimbabwe banknote. It is intended to serve as a placeholder for a collector who can't yet afford the real thing.
This Z,000 denomination, P-72, seems to be the one true rarity among the various banknotes in the Z0-trillion series, the "third do
llar." Even though the P-72 was released at the same time as the P-73 Z,000 denomination, it seems that almost the entire print run circulated, usually pretty heavily. Other Zimbabwe denominations tended to become obsolete while there were still lots of notes sitting unused, but not these.
This is why this note is so prized by collectors in good condition. The uncirculated Z,000 sells for multiples of even the notorious Z0-trillion.
For the collector who wants a complete uncirculated set, even a copy like this one makes a good placeholder until they can afford an uncirculated one.
    There's no mis
taking this for the real thing. It's printed on ordinary copy paper and lacks fine detail. However, with the two sides back-to-back in a flexible holder (included), they may look better in an album than either leaving a gap or using a low-grade note.
If you're interested in getting your hands on an uncirculated copy of this note, I will auction one off here on Ebay. That auction starts on 3 August 2021 with an opening bid of .99 and no reserve. Good luck!
