    Description

The Zimbabwe 100 Trillion Dollar Banknote was issued in 2008. Its obverse features the Chiremba balancing rocks, stylized grains and cow in underprint, and the Zimbabwe bird in OVI. The reverse features the Victoria falls and a cape buffalo. A 3-mm gold-to-green OVI stripe with repeating RBZ is added to the note to enhance its security features. The RBZ strip and Zimbabwe Bird both printed in Iridescent ink changes from bronze to blue while the serial numbers change color from red to bright orange on the left and from black to green on the right under a UV light. The geometric triangle pattern on the front and reverse also changes from a peach color to bright yellow while the Fluorescent fibers that are scattered on both sides of the note would turn bright green. The banknote has a dimension of 148 x 74 mm. This replacement/star banknote has been graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
