I am selling my remaining notes from a bundle. I am a banknote collector and have held these notes for several years. The note pictured has already sold, but the remaining notes are in the same pristine, uncirculated condition.
Serial numbers will, of course, vary.
I have held these notes for years, so I'm sure of their provenance and authenticity. Still, to be extra certain of that authenticity, I have checked the following security features and will check again before shipping:
With a lightbox, verify perfect registration of the two printed sides.
With UV light, verify fluorescent threads/particles incorporated in the paper.
With directional white light, verify the color-shifting ink on the Zimbabwe bird and printed security strip.
With magnification, verify microprinted RBZ in areas where microprint is used for shading.
I suggest that anyone buying from me or any other seller make these same checks upon receiving a purchase. I have seen accounts of counterfeits, but these seem pretty easy to spot even by just feeling the paper.
