Description
The Zimbabwe 10 Billion Dollar banknote from 2008 featured the Chiremba balancing rocks in Epworth in front of the note. A stylized grain and cow in underprint, a Zimbabwe bird in OVI is also added on the front design. At the back are the Kariba Dam on the Zambezi River and a miner with a jackhammer. The note is equipped with a 3-mm gold-to-green OVI stripe with repeating RBZ to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would show the Zimbabwe bird pattern printed with iridescent ink changes from bronze to blue while the geometric triangle pattern on the front and reverse side changes from a peach color to bright yellow. The serial number on the left also change color from red to bright orange. The banknote is 148 x 74 mm in size.
