vintage universal waffle iron art deco bakelite streamlined chrome appliance

Description

Great deco 1930s waffle iron. Very nice chrome plating, some old baked on batter and a little little dust in crevices, a little elbow grease will clean it up beautifully. No dents or damage. Bakelite handles are almost perfect, just a tiny, barely noticeable chip on the left side front. Nice, flexible original cord. I plugged it in for a couple minutes, it got hot, but I did not try to make a waffle in it. Sold with no guarantee to working condition. Just a great piece of prewar American industrial design.
