BEFORE BIDDING, PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR OFFICIAL EBAY ADDRESS. THIS WILL SAVE BOTH OF US TIME AND INCONVENIENCE.
UNC Zimbabwe 2008 1 BILLION Dollars Legal Tender, AA Prefix, INSTANT "BILLIONAIRE".

mbabwe suffered a terrible monetary crisis more than a decade ago and ended up issuing the highest dollar denomination banknotes in world history. But even trillions of Zimbabwean dollars (Z$) were collectively worth only about half of one USA dollar. Today Zimbabwe relies on other world currencies for money and these inflation issues have become collectibles.
So popular have these become, they are being counterfeited, but I absolutely guarantee the authenticity of everything I sell, including these Zimbabwe notes. There are videos online that will help you authenticate your Zimbabwean money. There is also a fascinating article about these inflation issues on Wikipedia.
As the crisis worsened, Zimbabwe used fewer and fewer security features on their notes in order to save money. Good currency paper was out of reach.
1 million dollar notes were printed on paper made for one thousand dollars notes with the Zimbabwe bird watermark and "1000" watermark. After this, none of the notes in the series had watermarks.
One billion and ten trillion dollar notes were made from non-watermarked paper
This listing is for one note but as of this writing, there are three available. If you buy more than one, you will receive discounted shipping. (I charge .33 for one or two banknote lots and .00 for three or more banknote lots if all are purchased within 72 hours. Please request a discounted shipping invoice.)
See my eBay store for other issues in this series including Z$ 500 million, one million, and ten trillion (Zimbabwe never issued a one trillion dollar note, they just went straight from the millions to ten trillion).

About Condition and Grading: Most of my customers already understand the realities of buying ungraded banknotes, but I am asking all potential customers to read this paragraph anyway for the sake of successful transactions: I am not a grading expert. I hold all notes up to a light and describe any damage I see but occasionally, something may get past me. Since my low prices stay low because I have an "all sales final" policy and I sell large amounts of banknotes, buyers must assume some risk in buying ungraded banknotes. You can't have it both ways. It's either some unavoidable risk and lower prices OR much higher prices for professionally graded banknotes. If you want to bid on my ungraded banknotes, it is up to the buyer to study the photos and/or scans, ask questions, and decide the grade/condition. I do not offer "buyer remorse" refunds and returns.
Check my store for more upcoming banknote lots, many of them starting at with eBay values up to 0.
Both sides of all notes in a lot will always be photographed.
    Actual item(s) photographed.
About these world paper money listings: It is my privilege to be liquidating a very fine world paper money collection during 2020. There are rare notes, commemoratives, overprints, a few errors, and common varieties, too. Please stay tuned. The most valuable notes will be scanned or photographed AND scanned.
Discounted shipping for multiple purchases: If you want discounted shipping, BEFORE paying for your multiple banknote purchases, please look in your eBay “cart.” There is a link there to request a discounted shipping invoice (or you can send me a note through the eBay messaging system). Please pay after receiving your invoice. You can wait three days to pay before the automatic non-paying bidder process kicks in. IF YOU WANT MORE TIME TO BID ON MORE ITEMS, YOU MUST MESSAGE ME before the non-paying bidder process activates.
After an invoice request is received, one or two individual banknotes ship for .33, and three or more for .00.
My Seller FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):
It’s true that reading this now will save both of us time later because sellers are allowed some customization within their seller policies.
Allergy Note: All lots come from a smoke free and cat free home but pre-owned items may have originated in different conditions.
Cancellations: Anyone canceling more than one bid or requesting the cancellation of more than one purchase within a six-month period will be put on the blocked bidder list permanently out of fairness to all.
    Discounted Shipping:
    USA shipping only
. I am happy to discount shipping on multiple purchases of similar weight if you message me to request a discounted invoice after your last auction concludes but before payment is sent. Please make this request through your “cart” or the eBay messaging system within 72 hours of the first win. Multiple large fragile items are not usually subject to this option because they often have to ship in separate boxes.
    Shipping and Return Policy:
I can only ship to your official eBay address within the USA
(the address that shows up when a seller looks at your eBay ID or tries to send you an invoice)
    , no exceptions.
I ship twice a week, usually on Monday and Thursday so
shipping can take up to four days from the time of payment
. Please bear this in mind, as well as the post office transit time estimates, when looking at arrival dates.
You will always receive a tracking number from the eBay shipping system. Oklahoma residents and the residents of most other states are always subject to sales tax.
In more than 20 years, my return policy has not changed.
All sales are final - no returns or refunds unless there is a serious question of authenticity or a gross error in the description.
Refunds are not available for differences regarding banknote, coin and medal grading opinions.
Payment Reminder: eBay automatically opens a case when payment fails to arrive within the required period. After a case is opened, buyers have several more days to send payment before the buyer account receives a “strike.” I have received angry emails from slow-paying buyers who have no idea that the process is automatic, hence, this reminder.
ABOUT FEEDBACK: My top priorities are answering email, writing accurate descriptions and the fastest possible shipping for my schedule. Feedback is important but not my priority. I leave feedback only once or twice a month in large groups to save time.
