This is a non organic mohair liner and
is made of modern synthetic materials
This door & quarter window glass channel run weatherstrip material
is used in many applications.
The material is 2-5/8 inches wide and is made of black fuzzie felt type liner material
and is cut to fit and glued into the lower window channels.
Typically this would be used to re-line the lower glass run channels inside
the doors and inside the rear quarters for the quarter windows.
The original material in older cars and truck will most times rot away
and be found in pieces inside the bottom of the door.
If you roll the window down and move the door back and forth and
hear the glass moving around in the lower channels.
That is a good indication that the liner material needs to be replaced.
This material would not be used to re-line the upper channel
door glass run in most cases. That would require a different material,
many times sold in our super beltline master kits.
We also have available the division bar door glass run at
the back of the vent assembly and the upper channel run material
that goes up the back of the glass and across the top.
