This vest is in very good condition I think it's new but am not sure, it has no wear. It is manufactured for the Swiss military in the 1980s. I have had many others in the past none were is perfect condition like this one. They very hard to find nowadays.
This Fragmentation Vest was issued to Swiss troops... namely M.P.s and bomb squads to help keep out of harm's way. Each Vest has a nylon zipper front. Carry a ton in the large chest pocket with a 3-snap closure flap. Fully adjustable so one size fits most.
Condition: possibly new in excellent shape. Weighs 14 1 / 2 lbs. Very thick, not sure what it will stop. I cannot find practical ballistics information on this particular vest. But is much thicker that any others I have ever had. The armor insert is removable form the vest in the back bottom there is Velcro. Everything is very nice on this vest. like new or new.
