Side-mount motor mounts are a more rugged mount design than the original front mounts found on your Tri-Five Chevy, plus they allow more room for front drive accessories. Our motor mount kit allows you to side-mount 1958-up S/B Chevy 283-400 c.i. V-8 engines into your 1955, 1956, or 1957 Chevy passenger car.  Will also work on 396-454 big block engines.
Includes frame brackets, engine brackets, rubber mount cushions, hardware, and instructions.

Summary:
I was just barely able to locate and drill out the mounting bolt holes with a SBC still in place. The supplied rubber cushions are pretty thick and raised the motor 1/4-3/8 inch from where the old worn out front mounts and trans bellhousing mounts had the motor sitting. I am not running a large HEI cap so this did not cause a problem with clearance to the firewall or motor angle. I'm sure the rubber will settle in time to come down just a bit also. The only thing is they supply grade 5 hardware and I prefer grade 8 for something like this.

Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If within 60 days after you receive your shipment and you are not satisfied, you may return the item for a refund. Refunds will be processed (1-2) days after the item is received by Speedway. All returned merchandise must be in original factory condition with no modifications or alterations. A restocking fee up to 15% may be applied if items are not in new condition.
Returned merchandise must include all packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. If the items being returned need to be repackaged, there will be a repacking charge. Repack the item in a sturdy box, include a copy of your invoice and complete the form on the back of the invoice. You must ship orders back PREPAID. WE DO NOT ACCEPT COD SHIPMENTS.
All fiberglass items returned will be subject to a 15% restocking charge. No returns on electrical parts, DVDs, and books unless they are defective. Absolutely no returns on special order or closeout merchandise.
