    Description

    Iraqi Army Tanker Helmet--Desert Storm
    Original Desert Storm-era Iraqi Army tanker helmet, Soviet mfg black cotton construction with earphone receivers inside chamois covered cups, brown leather chin strap, black leather covered throat microphones with brown leather adjuster strap, black leather adjuster straps at top and under rear flap, and black rubber covered commo cord with metal plug on end. Faint white ink stamped Soviet markings under rear flap with date 1985 still visible. Helmet is a fairly small size, about a size 7 or so. Fabric has faded out to a dark grey color due to exposure to the Iraqi sun, and earphone receivers have a coating of that fine, powdery Iraqi desert sand. Right side earphone cup has faint Arabic writing in blue ink. No holes, fraying or other damage to fabric and all leather and rubber parts are nice and flexible with no damage. Nice clean piece for any Desert Storm Iraqi uniform or headgear collection and is in fine condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
