Electrahot Waffle Iron Vintage Art Deco Cloth Covered Cord and Thermostat Tested

Hard to find Electrahot Waffle Iron with the Chrome Swirl top pattern, thermostat and cloth covered cord. Tested, heats up, but I didn't make a waffle in it.  Working thermostat moves as it heats up. Style no. 22S.  Being sold as a vintage collectible that may not be suitable for everyday use.  I'm guessing it to be from the 30's or 40's.  Comments are welcome!
