ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER MINIATURE FRAME
Charming antique sterling silver miniature oval frame measuring 4" tall by 2-1/2" wide -- designed to hold a 3-1/3" tall by 1-7/8" wide. Featuring the original glass insert, backing is rich, old velvet in a faded green - bracket stand is covered in same. Bearing the SAART Brother's stamp and STERLING on one side, back simply pulls out so that a photograph can be added - it is currently mounted with the black paper liner showing. Accented with a pretty embossed scrollwork pattern, condition is very nice with no damage other than a tiny shallow dent on one side edge - does not show and is very faint. I'm guessing frame dates to the 1920s. Just a sweet and petite frame - perfect for a baby photo - fun addition to any collection or display!
